Gingerbread house

So we made our first Gingerbread House. I don’t think it would win any prizes, but most importantly, the kids had fun! I made up the gingerbread mix and cut out the shapes with the help of a stencil. My niece did a great job of cutting out the pieces and making cookies with the left over cookie dough. Once it was baked and cooled, I left the kids to it. I made up the icing glue, which I placed in a ziplock bag with a small hole cut in a corner. This was the perfect tool for gluing the walls and roof of the house together. Once the icing had dried the kids had great fun decorating it. As you can see, less in this case is not more.
